Reporting directly to the Director, Information Technology and Lead Business Analyst, the Business Analyst analyzes, defines and document business processes in support of Lead Business Analyst and the custom applications project. Manages the scope and requirements of development projects, interfacing with Lead Business Analyst, Director of IT and custom applications project partners and the user community. Works in both new development, bug fixes and process enhancements.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
|E||40%||Develops detailed workflow diagrams of existing and to-be processes according to developed standards validating the alignment with stated objectives.|
|E||20%||Interacts with internal users, clients, customers and partners as directed to learn and document requirements.|
|E||20%||Test of staging and production environment releases and updates to document gaps, issues and final workflows.|
|E||20%||Supports the providing of technical support, assistance, information and training to users in new system operations as necessary; reviews, analyzes and documents user issues and needs.|
|1.||Base all analysis on best practices of security, compliance and governance.|
|2.||Incorporate current design standards in all new and updated development.|
|3.||Provide reports and documentation based on agreed upon timelines and deadlines.|
|4.||Keep IT management and stakeholders up to date on project status and issues or changes to project scope.|
|5.||Expand versatility and value through work-based and self-based training and varied assignments.|
|6.||Provide friendly, professional and accurate service and support to all internal and external customers.|
|Ensure confidentiality by closely guarding and not disclosing without appropriate authorization from manager all information regarding the Company’s operations, customer, client, or private employee information.|
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
|Experience||2-4 years similar or related experience.|
|Education||(1) A college degree (non-technical discipline) or (2) multi-craft skills acquired through extensive on-the-job training or apprenticeship programs or (3) in-depth industry and job specific technical skills acquired through a combination of formal instruction and on-the-job training.|
|Interpersonal Skills||Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.|
|Other Skills||1. Experience with Visio or similar required
2. Experience with MS Office Suite of products, especially Word and Excel.
4. Ability to think logically and track down details.
5. Ability to think outside the box to deliver valued solutions.
