Report to: Director, ITS
Technology: VMware/ ESXi v5.5 and Microsoft environment consisting of Windows Server 2003-2016, Hyper-V, RDS, SQL, IIS, Windows 7/10 Workstations, as well as a Linux distribution (CentOS). Server hardware is Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) connected to NetApp via Cisco Nexus switches. Almost all networking equipment is Cisco.
Interview Process: Besides technical skills, our client will focus heavily on interviewing for project management skills (Gantt charts, Excel, Visio)

The Network Engineer is responsible for overall systems administration for the technical design, architecture, planning, implementation, and the highest level of performance tuning and recovery procedures for mission critical enterprise systems. Serves as a technical expert in the area of systems administration for complex operating systems and network management. Recommends the redesign and configuration of operating systems, network architecture and system applications. Investigates and analyzes feasibility of system requirements and develops system specifications. Identifies methods, solutions, and provides project leadership and management in order to provide a high level of service for the company. Strong project management and communication skills are critical to success in this position.
Responsible for effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational needs.
