From client “For A GM position we are looking for 5+years of decision level experience plus financial acumen. In addition, they would need the maturity to navigate in a very corporate environment and preferably a master’s level education. Ideal candidate has been the #1 for over 5 years in a mid to large company, or a #2 from a car rental or airline industry for 10+ years.

Salary: <$90-125K> DOE – base plus very generous Annual Incentives, etc.
Perks: Auto provided, including gas and maintenance allowance (valued at about $10-$12K)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The person must be able to drill down into 100’s of PnL line items, revenue items, expenses, balance sheets and metrics. Everything this role does is scaled by # metrics, performance comparisons, standards & measurements, revenue finance goals, etc. We need #’s people who know how to quantify results, successes and the ability to seek out improvements.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The General Manager is responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of his or her assigned location, emphasizing the areas of Management of Customer Service, Operations, Human Resources, and Fleet Management and Maintenance. The General Manager is also responsible for optimizing the profitable revenue growth of the location with a strong sales focus and increasing the market share of the location through superior customer service.
Looking for somebody with an entrepreneurial mindset; somebody who takes ownership, drives success, motivates his or her team members and staff, learns quickly and consistently wants to improve processes with employees, coworkers, corporate HQ and customers.
