LOCATION: Valencia, Ca 91355 – 100% onsite
SALARY: $110,000 to $140,000

MUST LIVE LOCALLY – Our client Shield Healthcare will usually will not interview anybody who does not already live locally, nor anybody who has not lived in Valencia or near before. Under 45 minutes is ideal as well.
CITIZENSHIP: MUST be US Citizen or Permanent Resident Green Card

Shield HealthCare is looking for a Vice President Human Resources for our corporate office in Valencia, CA. The director is responsible for strategic human resource planning to provide the company with the best available talent utilized to their fullest potential and position the organization such that it is recognized as an Employer of Choice.
This position is fully on-site in Valencia, CA.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Translates the strategic and tactical business plans into human resource strategic and operational plans.
- Plans, develops, implements, directs and evaluates the organization’s human resource function and performance.
- Ensures the organization has the right talent to meet its’ needs including the designing organizational development programs to identify and build competencies, knowledge, and talent within the organization.
- Develops progressive and proactive total compensation and benefit plans and programs to attract applicants possessing superior talent as well as providing motivation and rewards for effective performance among current employees.
- Lead organization in transforming and strengthening organizational culture and provide coaching to business partners to assist in establishing the organization as an employer of choice.
- Provide leadership and consulting support to management team members on matters of goal setting, policy development, and strategic plan implementation in support of achieving corporate objectives and enhancing opportunities for business growth.
- Ensures that company policies and practices comply with all applicable regulatory agency requirements.
- Develops and maintains a human resource information system that meets the organization’s information needs.
- Oversee Leave Administration
- Oversees Employee Relations and disciplinary process.
- Oversees the annual performance review program
- Prepares and manages the budget of human resources operations as well as other appropriate financial measures within the scope of human resources.
- Directs the resolution of all employee relations issues.
- Execute plans for diversity, equity and inclusion that align with company values and business strategies.
- Acts as SHC’s Equal Opportunity Employment Policy Officer.
- Responsibility for all risk management programs including safety, workers compensation, liability, and property insurances.
- Miscellaneous projects as assigned by manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree with business concentration; or 10 years human resources management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Knowledge of state and federal laws regarding general personnel practices.
- Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills.
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong Project Management Skills
