JOB DESCRIPTION

The Data Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing business data to support various departments including Operations, Supply Chain, HR and Marketing using MicroStrategy, SQL, Python, R or Sas. You’ll use your analytical skills, functional knowledge and available tools to interpret raw data and come up with meaningful conclusions. You’ll also investigate both structured & unstructured data to identify patterns in the data and then work with the business stakeholders to make actionable recommendations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use data mining to extract information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns.
• Use data analytics to predict trends in various business function like Operations, Finance and Marketing.
• Perform statistical data analysis and research to support business needs.
• Develop actionable insights from data analysis, document findings & present insights and recommendations.
• Analyze data by running SQL queries and other in-house technology tools.
• Communicate with stakeholders at all levels to discuss analysis results.
• Research ideas, build prototypes, and proof of concepts as necessary.
• Work with both structured and unstructured data to derive meaningful conclusions.
• Collaborate with business partners on the implementation of actionable insights as necessary.
