REPORTS TO: IT Development Manager
SALARY RANGE: $140,000.00 To $185,000.00 Annually
DKKD Staffing is looking for an Azure Solutions Architect/ Developer for our Valencia, CA client, where we have staffed many people.
Under the supervision of the IT Development Manager, designs, develops, implements, modifies, and supports software applications and components for core business processes. Primary Development will be on the Microsoft (MS) Azure platform. This position will be required to have a deep understanding of developing solutions on Azure and be able to develop using .NET/C# programming language. Works from written specifications and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the position while maintaining technical documentation of process flow associated with their work. This position is for HSI Home Solutions.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Exceptional programming ability in augmentation an Azure application using .NET/C# programming language.
• Proficiency in .NET/C# development (+5 years).
• .NET/C# full stack developer experience (+3 years) necessary.
• Under general supervision implements all aspects of an application design – high performance design, coding, caching mechanisms, security, encryption, state management, error logging, debugging, scalability, code reviews, development environment configuration, and testing.
• Participates in the development and implementation, working with project analysts and lead, to ensure full understanding of the change implications to business processes.
• Confirms application meets specifications through objective review process.
• Ensures the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identifies bottlenecks and bugs, log issues and recommend solutions to identified issues.
• Helps maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Performs unit and system level testing on applications.
• Develops data migration and integration processes to legacy systems using identified development tools and technologies.

• Five to seven (5-7) years relevant programming experience, undergraduate degree in computer science, business or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Utilizes established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to ASP.NET, SQL Server, Azure SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#.
• Designs, codes and tests Azure Functions and microservice APIs utilizing APIM, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Queue Storage
• Investigates and develops skills in new technologies.
• Creates technical specifications and test plans.
• Understanding of troubleshooting techniques.
• Object-oriented design experience.
• Domain driven design preferred.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, GitHub, SVN, other tools for Agile SCRUM Sprint scheduling and issue tracking such as Azure DevOps, Atlassian JIRA, and Confluence.
