• Five to seven (5-7) years relevant programming experience, undergraduate degree in computer science, business or equivalent combination of education and experience:
• Utilizes established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to SQL Server:
• Data Security knowledge pertaining to PII, PCI, and HIPAA:
• Experience with Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) tools such as SSIS or Apache Airflow:
• Familiarity with SSRS, ASP.NET, HTML, & CSS related to reporting:
• Knowledge with Salesforce Objects integration:
• Enhances existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement:
• Creates technical specifications and test plans:
• Understanding of troubleshooting techniques.
• Domain driven design:
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, GitHub, SVN, other tools for Agile SCRUM Sprint scheduling and issue tracking such as Atlassian JIRA and Confluence:
JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the supervision of the IT Development Manager, designs, develops, implements, modifies, and supports database components for core business processes. Works from written specifications and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the position while maintaining technical documentation of process flow associated with their work.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Architect and design Data Architecture to ensure data is secure, reliable, scalable, and consistent between distributed systems
• Proficiency in SQL Server Management, and Stored Procedures (+5 years).
• Monitoring & maintaining SQL Server Databases (+5 years) necessary.
• Under general supervision implements all aspects of a database design – schema design, coding, security, encryption, state management, error logging, debugging, scalability, code reviews, development environment configuration, and testing.
• Participates in every aspect of the development and implementation, working with project analysts to ensure full understanding of the change implications to business processes.
• Confirms application meets specifications through objective review process.
• Ensures the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identifies bottlenecks and bugs, log issues and recommend solutions to identified issues.
• Helps maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Performs unit and system level testing on applications.
• Develops data migration and integration processes to legacy systems using identified development tools and technologies.
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, GitHub, SVN, other tools for Agile SCRUM Sprint scheduling and issue tracking such as Atlassian JIRA and Confluence.
