Job Description:
* EMT Analyst provides operational support for SMTP relays, Google Workspace, and supported collaboration tools services for the organization’s environment. Participate in all aspects of operational support for relay infrastructure and collaboration tools. Complete patching and other maintenance for all relevant systems. The position requires a responsible, self-motivated, well-organized individual with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects while adapting quickly to rapidly changing priorities.
Responsibilities and Duties:
* Work closely with vendors to resolve user and production issues.
* Participate in operational support and on-call for a large enterprise SMTP relay environment.
* Troubleshoot and maintain SMTP relays.
* Generate operational documentation including change management paperwork.
* Maintain high morale and motivate team members to go above and beyond the minimum requirements.
* Work on multiple operational issues at one time.
* Provide support for ancillary EMT products including collaboration tools and mass mailers.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.
* Provide support for release deployments in a 24×7 operations environment as required.
* Produce technical and operational documentation.
Qualifications:
* 2+ years of experience managing the day-to-day administration, support, maintenance, and monitoring of SMTP relays.
* Experience with Proof Point or IronPort
* Experience with mail routing.
* Basic understanding of DNS
* Basic Splunk search skills
* Must be able to communicate technical concepts clearly to a wide audience.
* Demonstrate a customer focused attitude.
* 1+ Service Now or equivalent ticketing system experience
* Must be able to communicate technical concepts clearly to a wide audience.
* Microsoft Active Directory Administration experience
* PowerShell scripting experience
* ITIL experience (preferred)
* Ability to work in a 24×7 on-call after hour rotation environment.
* Good understanding of change management
