TITLE: HRIS Benefits Analyst

LOCATION: Calabasas, CA

HYBRID: 3 days

SALARY: $100-$115K

REQUIRES: US Citizen or Permanent Resident Green Card

JOB DESCRIPTION

This position involves serving as the primary system administrator for PTO configuration and Benefits integrations within UKG Pro Core and UTA, providing daily support for Human Capital Management (HCM) and PTO systems. The role includes configuring systems to meet business needs, managing end-to-end project support, and troubleshooting complex system/user issues. Additionally, you will collaborate with vendors, develop reports using UKG BI, UTA Cognos, and MicroStrategy, and support the HR Systems Services team in major HR technology initiatives.

    • Serve as the primary system administrator for PTO configuration and Benefits integrations within UKG Pro Core and UTA.
    • Provide daily support for our Human Capital Management (HCM) & PTO systems.
    • Configure systems to meet business needs, including user interfaces, processes, and correspondences.
    • Collaborate on project initiation efforts by defining scope, developing work plans, and supporting timelines.
    • Manage end-to-end project support, including requirements analysis, configuration, testing, and implementation.
    • Document and analyze process flows, system diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
    • Conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity and optimize processes.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system/user issues, identifying root causes and driving solutions.
    • Partner with vendors to resolve system-related issues, implement updates, and maintain interfaces.
    • Develop and enhance reports using UKG BI, UTA Cognos, and MicroStrategy.

MUST HAVE

  1. Technical Proficiency:
    • Expertise in UKG Pro Core and UTA systems.
    • UKG, Excel (advanced skills such as slicers, macros)
  2. Time & Attendance (tracking employee hours, workforce scheduling, payroll errors, compliance)
    • Experience configuring PTO in UKG Pro Core and UTA.
  3. Reporting skills – need strong understanding of excel/UKG reporting
    • 1+ year of report writing using drag-and-drop tools and SQL-based reporting (UKG BI and UTA Cognos preferred).
  4. Familiarity with benefit vendors (like BSwift, Fidelity, and Health Equity)
  5. 3+ years HR Systems experience.
  6. 2+ years’ experience with Time and Attendance (multi-site/multi state).
    • 2+ years of experience in Benefits/Time Off administration, with a solid understanding of time-off laws and multi-group policy setup in HCM systems.
  7. More than 2 years’ experience doing multi-group policy set up in HCM.
  8. Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Visio, Outlook) and Excel (Slicers, Macros, etc.).
  9. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  10. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or Human Resources.
