TITLE: Jr. Technical Sales Engineer

LOCATION: Southern California (remote)

Key Responsibilities

• Client interfacing, Hands-on technical role supporting customer pilots and production deployments
• Work directly with the Product Director to develop business use cases to support customer pilots and production installations
• Engage with customers to understand business requirements and define data processing requirements to enable business use cases
• Configure visual dashboards within the company Platform to support customer business use cases
• Perform initial troubleshooting of the technical company Platform or data issues within Customer environments
• Responsible for planning the deployment of company Platform in customer environments to collect, index, search and analyze data and files
• Support pilot and customer company Platform installations

REQUIRED SKILLS – please provide your # of years of experience and last used per bullet.

• Knowledge of big-data visual analytics tools like Kibana, Kibi, D3.js, or other similar technologies
• Experience with big data NoSQL solution like ElasticSearch, Hadoop, MongoDB or other similar technologies including JSON file formats
• Familiarity with common unstructured and structured file systems such as CIFS, NFS, ODBC/JDBC, etc. Experience with cloud-based APIs is a strong plus
• Understanding of python or other scripting languages to work with to guide our data engineers with analysis of large customer datasets
• Hands-on experience using a Linux/Unix environment commands and troubleshooting. Experience with Docker or other container frameworks is a strong plus
• Outstanding collaboration and written/verbal communication skills
• Minimum of 2 years work experience in similar roles
