TITLE:  Information Technology Analyst

LOCATION: Calabasas, Ca (MUST live locally)

HYBRID: Mandatory onsite 4 days a week

DURATION: Immediate Temp (Depends on if the client wants to convert you to a full-time hire)

HOURLY PAY: $30-$40hr during trial contracting period

SALARY RANGE IF CONVERTED TO FTE/ Full Time Employee: $60K-$90K DOE

Information Technology Analyst

Are you a Helpdesk/ Desktop Tech who loves to continually learn and give the customers/ users a great support experience?

Do you enjoy being an IT Analyst troubleshooting and fixing technical issues on a variety of devices, setting up new users, supporting the team and your supervisors, etc.

The Information Technology Analyst position is responsible for providing technical support and training to personal computer and PC network users.  This position assists users in resolving problems with their PC’s using available hardware and software tools and engages users in determining potential future computer requirements.  The Information Technology Analyst supports, installs, and maintains personal computers, local area networks, server hardware, operating systems, software, and related IT peripherals.

Essential Functions

• Provides technical support and training to personal computer and PC network users; confers with users to determine software and hardware requirements.
• Installs and maintains hardware equipment and software systems; performs preventive maintenance and tests and repairs equipment.
• Evaluates system configuration and software to ensure effective use of computer resources.
• Addresses and resolves hardware and software user issues; performs troubleshooting and diagnostic routines to identify problems related to hardware application software and network communications.
• Assists in selection and evaluation of hardware and software.
• Analyzes basic business needs and recommends ways to optimize PC computer resources.
• Supports, maintains, and installs local area network server systems.

Skills Required

• Extensive knowledge of PC technical analysis, including installation and repair of personal computers
• Extensive knowledge of installation and troubleshooting of PC software and network connections, including upgrades
• Ability to provide quality service to the user community working under minimal supervision
• Ability to effectively communicate the values of the organization, to handle confidential information, and to exemplify good interpersonal skills

Information Technology Analyst

• Ability to communicate effectively with management, employees, and external vendors
• Demonstrates continued growth and development through participation in educational and in-service training programs

Experience

Minimum six years of experience in the Information Technology/PC technology field.

Education

Associate’s degree in computer science or equivalent technical training; Bachelor’s degree in computer science preferred.

Work Environment/Hours

A full-time non-exempt position working in the corporate office of MPTF as well as in other MPTF facilities as needed.
