JOB SUMMARY:
DKKD Staffing is looking for an autonomous Sr. IT Applications Merger Engineer to help our client merge their in-house systems and help the company grow. Our client has financial success, stability and longevity in their company. Very little turnover. We need to help them take their company and systems to the next level.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As the Applications Merger Engineer, you will be 99% responsible for the entire migration and merger between 2 companies and their systems. This is not a 9-5 job. Think of it as a 14 year old startup reinventing the company. This is a very hands-on position. For probably the first year, you will be the only IT person with hardware support from a consulting company.
The ideal applicant will be somebody who is a developer, a systems person, somebody who has managed full cycle application projects and merged companies and systems. The ideal person will preferably have worked for a finance company or at least has knowledge of the finance industry and systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Sr. Applications Merger Engineer, you will be responsible for (and not limited to):
ENVIRONMENT: Longevity, stability, somebody who wants to grow with the company and retire with them. Casual environment, but not as casual as tshirt and flip flops. Very low turnover at company.

Step 3 (probably in about a year)
STAFF TO OVERSEE: NONE – standalone – should be able to architect, engineer, program. Will work directly with the Partner who wrote the internal program. Eventually they might bring in somebody lower level to drive daily maintenance and other’s as needed.
REPORT TO: Managing Director/ Partner
BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITY: No clue yet

Education/Degrees/Certs: Not necessary, but College graduate nice to have. proven successful work related experience most important.
