Looking for a Development Lead to provide technical guidance and oversight to a small group that designs, develops, maintains and troubleshoots web and desktop applications within the Enterprise technology stack. This Lead is a member of the enterprise development team and will provide technical leadership. This individual will also be tasked with being an active developer in the group, configuring, coding, developing, maintaining, updating and documenting applications in an Agile (SCRUM) development environment. This person will report to the Director IT, Engineering Services who oversees this area.
EXPERIENCE & Skills REQUIRED & Preferred:
· 3-7+ years’ experience as a Team Lead or Project Manager
· Web development in .NET Framework 2.0+
· Proficient in ASP.NET, C#, ADO.NET, HTML/XHTML, CSS, XML, SQL, WCF, WPF/XAML, web development in .NET Framework 2.0+
· Strong SQL Query knowledge
· Solid OO design and development concepts
· Understanding of Unit/Integration Testing. Be able to create and execute test plans, data, and remediation plans.
· Relational database design concepts
· MS Office expertise
· Leadership/team building experience
· Strong problem-solving skills
· Ability to mentor and coach
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Computer Science
· Experience in an AGILE development environment
· Ability to “think outside the box” on solutions
· Solid understanding of Windows OS and Networking Concepts
· MS Visio experience
· Some Test-Driven Development Background
